Svitavy had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international guard Pavel Slezak (186-1984) scored 26 points and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and Martin Novak (199-1993) chipped in 14 points, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Guard Tomas Jansa (188-2002) responded with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and center Jakub Krakovic (205-1990) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Four Zlin players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
